Fredericton - Lauren Cicin of McInnes Cooper in Saint John won the election for incoming Treasurer of the Canadian Bar Association-New Brunswick. This position is the first step on the ladder to the presidency, a post she will assume in September 2020.
CBA Past President Scott Brittain made the announcement on June 1 following the election.
"Congratulations to Lauren Cicin on a successful campaign,” he said. "I'd like to thank Lauren for her dedication to our Association and I look forward to working with her."
The CBA is dedicated to support for the rule of law, and improvement in the law, and the administration of justice. Members include over 1500 lawyers, law teachers, and law students from across New Brunswick.
