Biography
I am a lawyer with practice experience in the areas of private law, administrative law, human rights law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance - with an emphasis on government & institutions. I have worked in Canada and abroad (Northern Ireland, Turkey, Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Netherlands, USA) for public institutions, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, governments, and a leading law firm, including: McInnes Cooper LLP, Kosovo Specialist Chambers, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), McGill University (Rule of Law & Economic Development Group), One Earth Future Foundation (Our Secure Future Program), and the Human Rights Commission (Government of New Brunswick). I am an alternate Chair to the New Brunswick Mental Health Review Boards, and I hold executive and committee-level positions with the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of New Brunswick. I graduated from McGill University - Faculty of Law (BCL, LL.B), University of Toronto (BA, MA) and Ryerson University (MFA).
