Biography
Kayla knew heading into law school, she wanted to practice Family Law. With a deep commitment to supporting families through challenging times, Kayla is known for providing compassionate, client-focused legal representation in areas such as divorce, separation, parenting time and property division.
She is a very understanding and caring person. In her presence, you feel heard and respected. “I understand it can be difficult for clients to entrust someone with their complex family matter. I want my clients to feel comfortable asking their questions and reassured that, together, we will come up with a strategy tailored to their needs. My clients should leave my office feeling empowered and supported.”
Kayla works diligently and tirelessly for her clients. With unwavering dedication for her clients, she stays current with the latest caselaw and ensures her clients have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Throughout her career, Kayla has advocated for her clients in a diverse range of cases, from complex
parenting time arrangements, serious family violence matters to collaborative negotiations out of court. Kayla has represented clients before the Court of King’s Bench and the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick. Whether it be negotiating a Separation Agreement or defending her client’s rights in a courtroom, she strives to act with integrity and honesty.
Kayla has a bachelor degree with honors in Psychology and a Juris Doctor from the Université de Moncton. During her time at Law School, she was chosen to participate in the Gale Cup Moot and began working in the area of family law. Since then, her passion for family law has done nothing but grow!
Outside of the office, Kayla values the time she spends with family and friends, particularly creating cherished memories with her son.
